Today is a dark, dark day for America.
Charlie Kirk — a father, a husband, a son, a friend — is gone. Those closest to him are left to mourn his loss, and for what? Because we’ve allowed hate, anger, and division to fester to the point where violence has become someone’s answer.

As conservatives, we believe deeply in the right of every person to speak their mind and share their opinion. That’s at the heart of freedom. But no one wins this war if this is the path we choose.

As Americans, and more importantly as humans, we cannot allow this hate, this divisive language, this political control to take over. We have to open our eyes. We have to make the intentional decision to stop letting politics dictate whether we show kindness and respect.

We can disagree. We can debate. But we must also love. We must also choose compassion. Healthy debate once made America strong — it’s time we find our way back to that.

And let’s be honest — as conservatives, we’ve often been scared to truly share our views and opinions. We worried about what it could do to our jobs, our friendships, our credibility, even our families. But today, that stops. From now on, we refuse to water down our beliefs just to cater to others who may feel differently. If you don’t agree, you are free to move on.

Charlie’s death is a reminder that silence is no longer an option. We will speak boldly. We will stand firmly. And we will choose love and truth, no matter the cost. Because if we lose our courage, we lose our country.
