It becomes a life of numbers, exercise, bathrooms, never enjoying anything, canceling plans with friends because there may be food there. Hospital visits for fluids and electrolytes. Being unable to get out of bed because your body is too weak. Brittle hair and nails. Fractures from weakened bones. If you're living with an eating disorder you aren't truly living you're just existing and in reality dying...
