Local residents Suzanne Urban, and Allison Joanis have donated two beautiful upcycled planters for the June 23 auction at The Birdcage tonight 5:30 pm. Bidding starts at 50.00. The above planter is by Suzanne, This planter features a rescued chair that was left on a curb, It's painted a calming color of sage green. The planter is a metal tub with handpainted sign in front. Each plant in the planter can be used to make your own special blend of tea: Lavender, Lemon Balm, Roman Chamomile, German Chamomile, Mint, and Catmint. The Petunias are just for color not for tea, and Nasturtium to keep aphids away. I painted and hand lettered stones to ID each plant.
