I feel like the wrong people are upset about the past two weeks? We did deny to drop the pan, twice. Why would I, a driver who came into the season with 4 weeks left and underfunded, tear down my motor for $350? I simply cannot afford to rebuild every week. I am no where near upset about the disqualifications. I showed up, won races and I’ll go home empty handed every week. Every last cent we can scrounge up will go to updates throughout the winter. I declined to comment on last weeks race until now not out of fear or embarrassment but so we could morn the loss of a fellow racer without drawing attention to ourselves. We will be back this week to try and win again. We’ve had an extremely fast car the last 3 weeks and I see no reason not to go out with a bang. All of our sponsorship money has gone to fuel, tires and everything needed just to show up. Without them we wouldn’t have been able to come back this year.
