The team from The Bar Beej (2025 James Beard semi-finalist for Best New Bar) is taking over easy & talk for one night, and easytalk’s crew is headed to Durham to take over their bar & cocktail menu the following week. There’ll be signature cocktails with plenty of non-alcoholic options as always, bespoke cocktails from some really cool bartenders, and if you’re coming to Durham and haven’t tried Cheeni yet, you should probably do that too.

No reservations. No tickets. Just show up for a good time.

Tomorrow (and for us, Wednesday) various Winston-Salem businesses will be donating profits to World Central Kitchen

If you can make it out on the 8th or 9th, your money will be going to an organization that provides meals to communities impacted by natural disasters.

We’ve been a little quiet here the past few days. It’s been hard to wrap our brains around the devastation that our friends in Western North Carolina have endured. We’re heartbroken for all the families, businesses, and the towns that lost everything.
