It was a steak cook-off again tonight! I have to say, I think Emery edged me out in flavor, but apparently I got points for a superior texture.

Both steaks were juicy and full of earthy, herb and garlic flavor, complemented perfectly by this roasted gnocchi and mushroom side with a horseradish sauce and drizzled in truffle oil.

The kids wanted sushi, which I do not like. So I made this rice bowl with some baked salmon topped with my homemade chili crisp mixed with honey and fish sauce, sauted peppers and snow peas topped with green onions and a drizzle of sriracha. Umami flavor without the seaweed.
