Hello September!

Can you even believe we are in September and all things pumpkin are back?

Will you be an early fall decorator this year to bring some extra joy or will you wait a bit longer?
I think I will bring some fall to the space mid month this year!

Struggling to maintain your color, especially your blonde?
It may be hard water!

Hard water refers to water that contains dissolving compounds of calcium and magnesium. It has a tendency to cause build up on everything it touches, from our bathtubs and sinks to the household appliances and dishes and of course, our hair and skin.

The buildup of excess minerals can not only weight your hair down, making it look flat and lifeless, but can also make your strands feel drier and more brittle while also interfering with your color. Blondes become dull and orangey, brunettes lose that shine and richness and redheads will look flat and fade super fast.

My tips to help combat the issue:
•Install a filtering shower head, I know, it sounds super extra but trust me, you’ll be amazed at what a difference that alone makes.
•A hard water shampoo/conditioner and treatment. I offer them in salon as well as to take home for maintenance.
•Continue avoiding products with sulfates in them!
