Thank you so much to everyone who supported me during my time on the Woburn School Committee and throughout this election. Please don’t feel sorry for me; I truly believe it’s okay, and I am at peace. My prayer for this election was never for me to win, but always for God’s will to be done in my life. I may plan my day, but the Lord orders my steps. I hope that in my service, I have inspired others to get involved and to speak up for what matters. My commitment to advocating for all children remains as strong as ever, and I will continue this work, inside and outside the committee. As Shirley Chisholm famously said, “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” I remain dedicated to making sure every voice is heard and every child is protected. Thank you again for your encouragement, your trust, and your belief in me. From the bottom of my heart, I truly appreciate it.

As the young people would say, “Life has been life-ing,” in other words, life has been busy and moving fast. This is my final week of this semester in graduate school, so homework is slowing down, and I do not start my next semester until October 20th.

If you are available on Thursday 10/9, 10/23 or 10/30 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., please stop by and say hello, or stay for a conversation. I will be at Empower Woburn Café next door to M&T Bank, across from Staples.
