I wish more people knew that perimenopause is not just hot flashes.
It can look like anxiety, overwhelm, rage, brain fog, exhaustion, disrupted sleep, joint pain, low motivation, and suddenly feeling uncomfortable in your own body. It can feel like your body stopped responding to the things that used to “work,” even when you are trying so hard to stay healthy.
And one of the hardest parts is that so many women blame themselves for it.
You are not failing.
Your body is changing.
Hormones impact your nervous system, metabolism, sleep, mood, energy, and stress response, which is why this phase can feel so confusing and frustrating.
Women deserve more education, support, and honest conversations about what this transition actually looks like.

Perimenopause is basically a Netflix genre all by itself.
One minute it’s a comedy because you walked into Target for toothpaste and left with patio furniture.
The next it’s a horror movie because someone breathed too loudly while stirring their coffee.
Then suddenly it turns into a drama where you’re crying over a dog food commercial while overheating in your own kitchen.
Honestly, the only thing missing is an award for Best Performance by an Exhausted Woman in Yoga Pants.
