Responsibilities:

· Support Ride and Drive Testing

· Driving for long hours (5 hrs) per day (80%)

· Testing as per process, manual testing (20%)

· Understanding test plan and use-cases for in-vehicle testing

· Requirement analysis, Design and development, documentation of test cases

· Defect reproduction based on limited information from user/ client

· Open to short domestic travel to automobile factories or warehouses and support working development and testing teams

· Communication with internal and external stakeholders



Required skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related

· 2+ years of relevant experience in executing a test plan, identify gaps and developing simple test cases

· 2+ years of relevant experience in Testing (preferred Automotive domain)

· Must have valid Driver's license and be a safe driver

· Experience in software testing for infotainment system or consumer electronics products

· Must have knowledge and experience of types of testing (e.g. normal, boundary, abnormal, load testing)



Preferred skills:

· Knowledge and experience in automotive domain is a plus

· Working knowledge of a Test Development Life Cycle (TDLC).

Job Description:
Embedded Software Engineer focused on Platform/low level embedded software:
BS+ in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics, or a related field
6+ years Embedded Software experience
C or modern C++ coding (preferably both)
Must have worked in 4+ of these areas; Linux or QNX, Device drivers, sensors (camera or lidar), bootloaders, networking (TCP/IP, ARP, HTTP, DDS, RTPS), Ethernet BUS, PHY/Switch, Security, SOCs, or multi-threaded applications
