Congratulations to NASA and the Artemis II crew on their successful launch!

This launch marks the first crewed mission aboard NASA’s Orion spacecraft with a destination to the moon, ushering humankind into a new era of space exploration. This milestone represents more than a decade of dedication to the Space Launch System (SLS) and the future of lunar exploration.

“It has truly been an honor to contribute the Artemis program and to work alongside such a highly skilled and dedicated team for the last 13+ years,” said Dr. Greg Dobson, Program Director. “As we prepare to deliver the next core stage rocket to NASA, I look forward to the return flight to the moon and beyond.”

On the engineering and operations front, we have supported the SLS through specialized expertise in metrology, weld engineering, materials and processes, 3D modeling, and laser projection. We also performed laser scanning of the facility to prepare for the new program and supported the Pegasus barge that delivers the core stage to Kennedy Space Center.

Yesterday, Sev1Tech was proud to sponsor the Association for Rescue at Sea’s (AFRAS) awards ceremony on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. The ceremony recognized heroic rescues from calendar year 2024 and celebrated the individuals and teams who led successful search and rescue missions.

Sev1Tech’s Maritime Division General Manager, Joe Re, serves as the volunteer President of AFRAS and helped bring this event to life to honor individuals and teams whose extraordinary actions on the sea saved lives. The AFRAS awards ceremony brings the maritime industry and government together, including U.S. Coast Guard, the Maritime Administration, the Federal Maritime Commission, NOAA, and Members of Congress, to recognize and celebrate these heroes.

Beyond honoring heroic acts at sea, AFRAS supports volunteer maritime search and rescue efforts worldwide. In celebration of its 50th anniversary this year, AFRAS provided $50,000 in support to maritime assistance organizations across the globe.

We are proud to share another example of how Sev1Tech employees are making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.

Sev1Tech is thrilled to announce that Aubrey Dexter, Sev1Tech’s Vice President of Growth, was recognized by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals’ (APMP) as a 2025 40 under 40 award honoree.

These awards honor outstanding APMP members who drive revenue and growth throughout the proposal profession. Dexter was selected among a competitive pool of applicants across multiple industries for her achievements in driving corporate growth, supporting her community, and leading the success of her team.

“Dexter is a leader, mentor, and coach, capable and ready to assume the responsibilities of a chief growth officer today,” said her manager, Executive VP of Growth, Brian McIntyre. “She is the right person to receive the prestigious APMP 40 under 40 award.”
