Many of the exterior scenes were filmed late at night while building the atmosphere and visual language of the film piece by piece.
New York City became an important part of the psychological structure of CAPIO — reflecting isolation, and human tension underneath.
Produced independently through Kostic Films, CAPIO combines live action, practical production, and handcrafted 3D/VFX work to build its world.
CAPIO is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, with additional channels rolling out.
We are also exploring a possible future cinema screening in NYC.
