Reminder: today, Feb. 19, South High School will host a functional exercise at the school that will involve an emergency response involving Worcester Police Officers.
This is only a drill exercise that will support training around functional communication and response to an emergency situation at a school.
The school will be closed to the public between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19. During that time, neighborhood residents may observe a large police presence at and in the vicinity of the school.
