This Memorial Day, I’m reflecting on the people who changed my life. Those who stood beside me, shaped who I am, and left a lasting impact I carry with me every day. some people stay with you; some lessons do too. Some of those people are no longer with us- not because life simply moved on, but because their time was cut short far too early. Those were people who showed up for others, who carried their weight without complaint, and who you trusted without question. The kind of people you don’t forget...

Losing them changes you. It gives you a different perspective on time, on leadership, and on what actually matters. A reminder of those who didn’t get more time, and the responsibility we carry to live and lead in a way that honors them. I think about them often. Not in a loud way, but in the way I show up, the way I lead, and the standards I hold myself to. Memorial Day is a reminder of that, remembering those who gave everything.
