Celebrate What Makes Us Unique! Join us at Main South CDC, 875 Main St., Worcester, MA, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 9:45 AM for a joyful morning of stories, creativity, and hands-on fun! We’ll read The Same but Different Too by Karl Newson and explore the many ways people can be alike and different. Through this engaging story, children will learn about individuality, acceptance, kindness, and celebrating what makes each person special. After the story, join us for a fun "Which Item Doesn't Belong?" activity. Children will use observation and critical-thinking skills to identify items that are different from the rest while building vocabulary, problem-solving, and classification skills. Come create, explore, and have fun with us—we hope to see you there!

Celebrate What Makes Us Unique! Join us at our Leeds Street location on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM for a joyful morning of stories, creativity, and hands-on fun! We’ll read The Same but Different Too by Karl Newson and explore the many ways people can be alike and different. Through this engaging story, children will learn about individuality, acceptance, kindness, and celebrating what makes each person special. After the story, join us as we create beautiful artwork using neutral colors. This creative activity will encourage self-expression while helping children develop fine motor skills, creativity, color recognition, and confidence. Come create, explore, and have a great time with us—we hope to see you there! Playgroups run Monday through Friday from 10:00–11:30 AM at Worcester Family Partnership, 130 Leeds Street, Worcester, MA. Please use the entrance on the Fairhaven Road side.

We’ll read The Same but Different Too by Karl Newson and explore the many ways people can be alike and different. Through this engaging story, children will learn about individuality, acceptance, and celebrating what makes each person special. After the story, join us for a fun sorting activity where we’ll discover which items are the same and which are different. This hands-on activity helps build observation skills, critical thinking, sorting and classifying skills, and early vocabulary. Come create, explore, and have a great time with us—we hope to see you there!
