1-181st Infantry Regiment

The 1st Battalion 181st Infantry Regiment held the Dupont Challenge Best Squad Competition July 22, 2025. The goal of the competition was not only to find the best squad in the Battalion, but also to build esprit de corps, foster healthy competition, and test Soldier skills. This is the first time in over a decade the Battalion has held a Competition for the Dupont Cup. It’s the final 181 IN Family & Friends get together! As always, there will be food provided by Texas Roadhouse, conversation with other people going through a deployment, and a Q&A with the Battalion Commander and Command Sergeant Major at 1:30 PM. For this event, thanks to Project New Hope, there will also be an appearance by the one and only SANTA!!! Project New Hope would like to have Santa provide each child with a wrapped gift, but we will need the child’s age and name sent to Debbie ([email protected]) or Shelby ([email protected]) by November 12th.
