Maura Power has been part of PINK Rev since it started in 2010. She was one of our first speakers and we are so proud of her ๐Ÿ’—

From diagnosis to surgery in just two weeks โ€” every test, scan, and step of Maura Power's breast cancer journey was handled with care... "along with the personal touch of getting to know me and my husband," she added.

"Thank you for every appointment I ever had and will continue to have with you. Thank you to all the staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center that I have encountered over the years. You continue to help me stay healthy and thrive. The doctors and nurses and support medical staff were the best!"

What advice does this breast cancer warrior give to someone newly navigating a diagnosis? "I am a woman of faith, so truly prayer and the power of prayer, having seen it work first hand with my personal situation and others close to me that have shared their stories with me. Next, trust in your team, find your community, and say yes.

Let those that ask you what they can do, do something. People donโ€™t ask if they donโ€™t mean it when it comes to cancer."
