We’re proud to support the professional paramedics and EMTs at Worcester EMS (Official)! We hope your EMS Week was enjoyable and helped to recognize and invigorate your everyday dedication to patient care.

As EMS Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible EMTs and paramedics of Worcester EMS. The photos shared today capture just a small glimpse of the dedication, teamwork, humor, compassion, and professionalism our crews bring with them every single day on the streets of Worcester.

A special thank you to the Worcester EMS Relief Association for the cookout, and to Saint Vincent Hospital for the food truck, the EMS Week support, and the chili cook-off — where WEMS teams proudly took home 1st and 3rd place! We are grateful for everything you guys do for our providers not just during EMS Week, but throughout the entire year.

Most importantly, thank you to the crews who continue to show up day and night to serve the City of Worcester. Whether it’s the middle of the night, during major incidents, or on someone’s worst day, our EMTs and paramedics answer the call with skill, heart, and dedication. We are proud of the work you do.

This EMS Week, we recognize and thank the EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, command staff, educators, mechanics, support folks, and countless others who keep our industry moving and improve patient outcomes every day.

While our organization was founded to support the UMass Memorial EMS department, we are equally proud to recognize the EMS professionals everywhere who dedicate themselves to providing care on our patients’ worst days—care that is often provided under difficult and demanding circumstances.
