To kick off the holiday season, our high school transition class is engaged in their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! The project ties into their learning about the cost of food and holiday preparation. They also learned about local food insecurity where 15% of Worcester residents experience this. Non-perishable items centered around the Thanksgiving meal can be donated at the Academy until Wednesday, November 26th. On that day, the students will deliver them to the local Community Fridge project. Thank you in advance!
