🌤️❄️⛸️We’re almost ready to welcome you back! February’s warmer-than-usual temperatures threw us a bit of a curveball, but our team has been working hard to get the ice back in top shape.
We truly appreciate your patience as we ensure conditions are safe and enjoyable for all guests. Because of this, The Oval, powered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will remain closed Thursday, February 19 as we continue preparations.
⛸️💚 The DCU Member Appreciation Skate scheduled for today has been moved to this weekend. DCU members will receive complimentary admission and complimentary skate rentals all weekend long by showing their DCU debit and/or credit card or the DCU mobile app.
Thank you for understanding... we can’t wait to see you back on the ice soon! ⛸️

Our Story
The Worcester Common, established in 1669, is a place of recreation and activation for residents, students, and visitors alike. In current day, the Worcester Common Oval features a 12,000 sq foot public ice skating rink in the winter and a seating/performance area in the summer, hosting an array of annual summer events such as Movies on the Common and the ever-popular Out to Lunch Concert Series. It also houses several monuments, memorials and historic markers. The Worcester Common oval serves as a destination and venue for a variety of diverse events, meet-ups and special occasions catered to Worcester’s rich cultural and demographic make-up.
