Up next in our series is first year member, Summer! Read what she has to say below:

Hi! I’m Summer, an incoming freshman. I am so excited to be joining AUDT! I love staying active, being outdoors, being social and volunteering for a local non profit. 

One of my biggest accomplishments recently was graduating high school and completing my final dance recital and competitions after 16 years of dancing! The recital was extra special because as the 2025 recipient of “Dancer of the Year Award” for my studio, I was able to present the 2026 Award to one of my best friends. Competition season was exciting, ending it all with being awarded First Place for my solo - WIDC and receiving a Performance team invitation - Dancing in the Streets.   

I recently returned from my high school senior trip to the Bahamas celebrating our accomplishments together in the sunshine. I even ran into another AUDT team member, Ashlee!!

This summer, I am looking forward to spending time with friends, siblings, family, my new teammates, and spending days at my lake house and by the pool!

Another highlight is I have had is the opportunity to volunteer along with my AUDT members at Gillette as part of the World Cup Games. I can’t wait to make so many more memories together!
