During this week the children explored a sensory water table filled with colorful flowers and floating objects using small nets and scoops. They practiced hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and problem-solving as they searched, scooped, and observed items in the water. This activity encouraged curiosity, cooperative play, and language development as the children shared tools and talked about the colors, textures, and objects they discovered.

The children participated in a sensory exploration activity using flowers, soil, and scoops at the sensory table. They practiced fine motor skills, sensory discovery, and social interaction as they touched, sorted, and collected different materials. The teacher engaged with the children by asking open-ended questions such as, “How does the soil feel?” and “What colors do you see?” to encourage language development and critical thinking. The teacher also modeled sharing, counting flowers, and describing textures, helping the children build vocabulary, cooperation, and curiosity through hands-on play.

Today’s visit from Animal Craze was a perfect example of how powerful hands-on experiences can be.
