About Me

As a self-employed school and home studio-based drum set instructor, rock, jazz and funk drummer, drum blogger and group drum circle facilitator, I feel blessed and very grateful to perform and entertain audiences. I love playing with musicians to produce live music for people of all ages.

I began drumming and playing trombone in fourth grade and studied through college, formally trained in jazz, concert and marching bands. That amounts to be about 30 years of total playing experience.

A newer part of my business was launched in 2010 leading group drum circles, classes and drum history lectures around New England for seniors, kids and the general public.

On the drum kit, my playing involves everything from jazz ensembles and theater pit bands to alternative rock, funk and jam bands. My drumming work appears on good amount of albums and I have toured with notable singer/songwriters throughout New England. I thrive in studio realms, having recorded several of my own albums in recent years.
