For some reason I always feel like anything I ever wanted to do in life is 10x harder for me to accomplish than it would be for the next person. Maybe that’s Gods way of testing my determination or how bad I really want the things I work for. With all the odds stacked against me I never came up with excuses or blamed anyone else. I always took accountability or chalked it up to the game. When you see me now it’s a result of my whole life fighting for what I deserve. I’ve sacrificed so much just for people to look at an instagram page and think it’s “cool” but you don’t see the conversations with executives I have, you don’t see the applications submitted, you don’t see the long days of shooting and editing and working to build a studio to create an experience for people. You don’t see the days driving uber when things are slow. All you see is what you see. I say all this to say that I do deserve it and I’m grateful for it all but what I’m not gonna do is settle for anything… Keep going, you deserve to be great and greatness comes with being built different 🤞🏽 3:43am thoughts
