We cannot say this enough. DO. NOT. MAKE. MAJOR. PURCHASES. WHEN. YOU. ARE. UNDER CONTRACT. It does not matter if you have the cash, or can still cover the down payment. There is so much more that goes into it, and risking the loan = potentially losing the house! Always speak with your lender, but do not buy the car, the furniture, the boat.... just dont do it!
