Our Story

Scooters To Go started as a family business in late 2008 as a modest retail store selling 50cc scooters and mopeds to the greater Grand Rapids, MI area. With an impressive stock of unique models, a reliable service department, and friendly service, we quickly become the top scooter dealer in West Michigan.

In 2012, we expanded our business with an online store for big bore kits, stroker kits, exhaust upgrades, and a variety of other performance modifications. Selling parts to customers all over the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), this part of our business quickly expanded as well.

As the business climate changed, so did we. Our online store was growing rapidly and often divided our time between retail and online customers. In late 2019, Scooters To Go decided to close the retail store to focus exclusively on our virtual store for scooter and moped replacement and performance parts.

While we miss seeing our local customers, the change in business focus allows us to serve more customers and feed our passion for “making things go fast.”
