Not exactly how I saw it in my mind’s eye. And it’s a little messy here and there. But I think this technique has some great possibilities.
If you saw my story yesterday, you saw the beginning of this experiment with fine line liquid frisket. You can head to my stories if you’d like to see the removal of the frisket after I painted it.
What I like about this is how the frisket traps the watercolor and allows the color to pool up. Plus, frisket is just fun to remove. But this does take some time to allow for the drying of the frisket and watercolor in between steps.
