I am incredibly grateful to Immaculata University and the team at Immaculata Magazine for this thoughtful and generous feature story.
My journey in public service has been shaped by many experiences, but my education played a critical role in helping me develop as a leader, public servant, and lifelong learner.
Education is about more than earning a degree—it is about preparing leaders to take on the world, assess situations intelligently, think critically, and approach challenges with an open mind. Those skills are invaluable in public service, and in life.
Immaculata taught me that leadership is rooted in service, integrity, compassion, and a commitment to continuous growth. The importance of lifelong learning remains one of the greatest lessons I carry with me today. No matter your title or position, there is always more to learn, more perspectives to consider, and more opportunities to grow.
Thank you to the faculty, staff, mentors, and the entire Immaculata community for being part of my journey. I am proud to be connected to an institution that continues to prepare leaders who make a difference in their communities and beyond.
The work continues, and I am honored to carry those lessons forward in service to the people of Delaware County. Immaculata University

Today, I was proud to stand with community members and leaders in Chester for the Peace Walk Against Gun Violence.
It’s important to meet people where they are and help our youth see that there are alternative paths to success, opportunity, and purpose. Prevention starts with connection, mentorship, and community.
Chester is a community I care deeply about, and I’m grateful to stand alongside those working every day to make it safer and stronger.

Truly honored to be included in City & State PA’s 2026 Forty Under 40.
This recognition is deeply meaningful, not because of any title, but because it reflects a lifelong commitment to service and to the people and communities I care about.
I’ve always believed that law enforcement is a noble profession — one rooted in service, sacrifice, and responsibility. It asks a lot of those who choose it, but it gives even more in return when it’s done with integrity and heart.
I’m grateful for the men and women I’ve worked alongside throughout my career who show up every day with courage, compassion and professionalism.
I also feel incredibly fortunate to live in the greatest country on earth, where service and community matter, and where there is always opportunity to make a positive difference.
Thank you to City & State PA for this honor and to everyone who has been part of my journey so far. I’m grateful, humbled, and motivated to keep going.
This month I attended the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards, a celebration of culture, talent and community.
I'm honored to serve the residents of Delaware County each day as Sheriff. Law enforcement is a noble profession grounded in service, trust and accountability.
Let's continue to bridge the gap between all communities. When we come together, we strengthen understanding and ultimately, respect.
We are all one.

Our hearts are heavy today as we mourn the tragic loss of life at the Islamic Center of San Diego, where three innocent men—including a brave security guard who protected many others—were killed in a horrifying act of hate.
As Sheriff and a former police officer, I extend my deepest condolences to the victims’ families, our Muslim neighbors, and everyone impacted by this senseless violence.
In the midst of this darkness, we must express our profound gratitude to the brave police officers and law enforcement agencies who ran toward the gunfire without hesitation. Their rapid, courageous action saved lives and prevented further tragedy, demonstrating the very best of public service.
No person should ever feel fear while practicing their faith, praying, or gathering with their community. Houses of worship are sacred spaces meant for peace, reflection, and unity.
I remain fiercely committed to protecting people of all faiths, backgrounds, and beliefs.
We will not let hate divide us. 🇺🇸
