At a time when science believed insects magically generated from mud, Merian disproved the theory. By raising caterpillars herself, she documented their true life cycles and revolutionized biology by painting them on their live host plants.

Architectural Walking Tour of Elizabethtown
Adults can join a guided one-hour tour and discover the fascinating history and architectural features of Elizabethtown’s historic buildings.

Explore and Enjoy Throughout the Day - 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Visit our original 1760s log cabins and view beautiful displays of historic and modern quilts. Find your favorite quilt and discover the stories stitched into each one.

Play colonial and modern-day family games, including:

Relax in our backyard colonial garden with a blanket and a book from the Seibert Genealogy & Research Library.
