On this, one of the darkest days in our nation's history, I would like to propose a new war on terrorism and prove that Good will ALWAYS triumph over Evil. I ask that you bestow a blessing on someone...anyone...whether or not you know them. Pay for the person behind you in line at McDonald's. Take flowers to someone in the hospital or to a shut-in. Buy a book for a child and read it out loud together. It does not have to cost you any money. Return someone's cart at the grocery story. Let someone in line while you are driving. Hold open the door for the person behind you. If they say "thank you" (and I hope they do!!!), ask them to simply pay it forward.
Our country came together on this day 18 years ago, but somehow, we lost our way and forgot that we need to come together again and make this a true UNITED States of America.
