Parties close with Pamela Blodgett confirmed Pamela has NOT passed away. From social media communications with formerly incarcerated women and JPay communications with a woman inside, we heard that Pamela passed recently. We deeply apologize for making an inaccurate claim about Pamela and apologize to her and her family for any distress we have perpetuated! The oppressive conditions at WHV render inside to outside communications and reporting difficult, and we should have worked harder to not add to speculation. We have deleted our former post, and will work to rebuild trust in the information we share. Let’s continue to struggle to free the women inside and to shut the Valley of Death down.
