Your Nassau County Fire Rescue Professionals were proud to provide pizza for the amazing kids attending the Callahan Middle School Cheer Camp!

Supporting our community goes beyond emergency response. We believe investing in our youth is one of the most important things we can do. These young athletes are learning teamwork, discipline, leadership, and school pride—values that will serve them well for years to come.

We hope everyone enjoyed the pizza, and we wish the Callahan Middle School cheerleaders an incredible season. Keep working hard, supporting one another, and making your school proud!

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit that makes our nation great. As you gather with family and friends, your Nassau County Fire Rescue Professionals wish everyone a safe and memorable Independence Day.

🎆 A few fireworks safety reminders:
• Leave fireworks to the professionals whenever possible.
• Keep children and pets a safe distance away from fireworks.
• Never relight a firework that fails to ignite.
• Have a bucket of water or a hose nearby when using legal fireworks.
• Never use fireworks while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Soak used fireworks in water before throwing them away.
• If you see a fire or have an emergency, call 911 immediately.

Whether you’re enjoying a backyard barbecue, watching a fireworks display, or spending time on the water, please make safety your top priority so everyone makes it home safely.
