If Louisiana insurance reform conversations seemed quieter this legislative session… you weren’t imagining it.

This year, much of the Capitol’s focus shifted toward:
• Healthcare legislation
• Workers’ compensation concerns
• PBM & pharmacy-related issues

Property & casualty insurance discussions still happened, but they were not the primary focus this session.

That doesn’t mean Louisiana’s insurance challenges are gone — conversations around affordability, litigation, storm-related fraud, and market stability are still ongoing behind the scenes.

We’ll continue keeping an eye on updates that could impact Louisiana families and businesses. 🏡💼
