Hand2Earth – Environmental Recovery and Historic Preservation of Little Bay Beach 🌿🌊
We joined Vonnie Roudette of Hand2Earth for a closer look at the ongoing work in the Little Bay area and to learn more about the team’s efforts to preserve the rich history of this unique landscape for future generations.
From restoring historic vetiver terraces to protecting critical nesting habitat for leatherback turtles, this initiative is helping to safeguard Little Bay’s natural and cultural heritage while strengthening community resilience through conservation and local stewardship.
Follow along as we continue to highlight community-led conservation efforts across St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and share this story to help inspire greater care for our natural and cultural heritage.

From April 20–24, 2026, SVGCF’s Executive Director, Kenrick Chambers, and Project Officer, Audwin Andrews, represented the organization at the GIZ Implementation Alignment Workshop held in Saint Lucia for the two regional projects “Green and Blue Skills” and “Blue Economy” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economy Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in cooperation with the CARICOM Secretariat.
Workshop focus:
🔹 Advancing climate action through skills development across Caribbean states
🔹 Unlocking the blue economy potential of marine managed and protected areas in Caribbean Small Island Developing States
🔹 Strengthening regional collaboration for sustainable conservation and economic resilience
The workshop brought together regional partners to align implementation efforts and strengthen collaboration across the Caribbean.
