Bequia, an unchanging land; the rock of Gibraltar they call it. Home to the warmest humans with the choicest personalities, this island is filled with good vibes and humor array!

Proudly born and bred, we’re privileged to call it home and share this spark with our guests. Bequia remains one of the safest places on planet earth & this undoubtedly is lived through the people every day.

At Sugarapple, we see ourselves as the bridge that connects our guests to our island. It’s quite an experience here at the office where quite a trail of different footsteps crosses our path. There’s a deeper essence to our job than performing routine tasks, compulsory smiles, handshakes & room orientations.

Each guest has their own charm; repeaters, first-timers, walk-ins, bag-packers & even lost stroll into Sugarapple Inn seeking mainly some good R&R. As we sit back & recap the conversations, unfortunate complaints, and peculiar personalities, we learned quite a few lessons: ‘don’t judge, everyone is different and a chosen response has an immediate effect to change any situation.’
