✨ He Was Scheduled to Die Today — But Fate Had Other Plans.

Fifteen years old.
Blind in one eye.
Unwanted. Forgotten.
His name wasn't even on anyone's lips.

Today was supposed to be his last.
But I just couldn’t let that be the end of his story.

I drove four hours — heart pounding, hands shaking — and when our eyes met for the first time, I knew:
He was never just “a dog.”
He was a soul who had waited his whole life to be loved one last time.

Now, he’s curled up beside me, snoring softly...
blissfully unaware of how close he came to disappearing into silence.
