GUILI

My hair would be long and flowing at a place where I can fly and dance with the softest soul and giggle in the cool sunlight. I would be dressed in a red and white outfit with an upside down bottle cap and sing my favorite songs with the wind. Leaves strewn about, and a delicate leaf brushed up against me. When it does, I'm looking forward to picking up the leaf and bringing it up to the light beaming on me. Looking at its aged veins, I'll think to myself, "This leaf loves me, and I'm young!"

Oh social media. It is ironic that young souls are worn down over time by vanities. Greed never stops, continues, continues, until it is lost, fear rushes back. They forget that when they return to dust, everything is meaningless.

It's better to live quietly in this world, it's scary to keep looking at each other and imagining the future and living with it. Am I real, or just an illusion of a great consciousness, like the origin of this universe?
