13 Days – A Journey Through Vietnam We’ll Never Forget 🇻🇳❤️
From the stormy mountains of the North, where we started our journey during Typhoon No.3, to the scorching heat of Central Vietnam under the blazing Lao winds – our family of 10 from Israel traveled across this amazing country, completely by road.
We didn’t speak a word of Vietnamese. Every conversation, every hotel booking, every funny moment with our driver or the locals – it all happened through a translation app... and lots of smiles.
We wandered through stunning landscapes in Sapa, Ninh Bình, Quảng Bình, Huế, Đà Nẵng, Hội An, Quy Nhơn, and finally reached Nha Trang. The kindness of strangers and the richness of Vietnamese culture made us feel at home in every place we stopped.
At our last stop in Nha Trang, with a heartfelt handshake and a bit of sadness, we realized – we didn’t make it all the way to the South. But that only means one thing: We’ll be back.
Vietnam, you surprised us, challenged us, welcomed us.
