Dear everyone,
With TET approaching (February 15th–21st), there will be some changes to our usual cleaning days and/or times. I am currently working on the schedule and will let you know as soon as everything is confirmed.
Thank you for your understanding, as this is the most important holiday in Vietnam—a special time for our staff to travel and be with their families.
Every year around TET, many of our guests ask about giving lucky money to the staff. This is absolutely not mandatory, but it is always very much appreciated by the ladies.
For the past seven years, I have collected most of the lucky money (including my own contribution) and divided it equally among the four staff members. If you prefer to give lucky money directly to a specific staff member, that is perfectly fine—please note that it will still be turned in to the office afterward.
If you choose to participate, please use a red envelope. No direct cash, as that would defeat the purpose and tradition of lucky money.
Most of you have been here long enough to be familiar with this custom. For those who are new—you’re going to love it 🙂
