Creative Collaboration - Community Events in Hoi An

Despite non-stop rain until early afternoon, locals and tourists kept the market busy all day. We are grateful for the vendors that did not drop out and the crowd that brought such a great communal vibe.

🎊The first event of its kind: No agenda. Just open hearts, open minds and delightful connections. Get to know strangers that you are glad to have met!

💕Having been to countless gatherings of varied nature with people from all walks of life, I find myself increasingly unenthused about superficial meet-ups where the exchange of facts and opinions does nothing for the expansion of my heart and mind. What I long for are conversations that make me feel inspired, nourished or delighted for seemingly no reason at all.

Ngoài hơn 30 gian hàng với các món ăn đặc sản và sản phẩm thủ công bản địa, thuận tự nhiên, chợ còn có các quầy dịch vụ như massage, bói bài và các workshops in tranh, bao lì xì. Hoà mình vào không khí tết cổ truyền với chương trình biểu diễn nghệ thuật xuyên suốt, hàng hoa Tết và khu trò chơi dân gian.

Alongside a curated selection of over 30 stalls selling fresh food, naturally made specialties and handcrafted goods, the market also features service stalls such as massage, tarot card reading and block printing/ lino printing workshops
Immerse yourself in the traditional Tet atmosphere with music performances throughout the day, a vibrant flower stall and a folk games area .
At this special event, every product and experience helps nurture wellbeing, preserve cultural traditions, and foster warm connections between the Hoi An community and visitors.

The first of more creative culinary experiences hosted by me ☺️
The journey of an idea to a concept to trials and refinement took a few months, culminating in a unique experience of 3 hours

Elevating the ordinary: a hosted fine-dining experience of delightful surprise, delivered with Vietnam’s pride.

This event was a four-way collaboration with a creative menu by Benoit Chaigneau and Chef Thu Le of Namia River Retreat, premium ChuBen fish sauce in every menu item and a pairing menu featuring Ve De Di made-in-Vietnam spirits. It was wonderful to see an idea during the shooting of Flavours & Beyond coming to life and being so well received by the guests.

Roving Chillhouse’s new bar was launched with a series of sunset events featuring DJ, piano, aerial dances and an 80s’ cover band. The ricefield took on new charm in the dark with music setting the tone.
