At the height of COVID, when the world felt still and uncertain, Janet’s found a way to keep creating.

In April 2021, Janet’s partnered with Taumeasina Island Resort to transform the resort’s central lobby into a beautiful virtual runway — featuring the vibrant designs of TAV Pacific and 12 beautiful Samoan models.

It was colour, movement, fashion, and joy in a time when everyone needed a little light.

What made this shoot so special was not only the clothing or the setting, but the feeling of the day. Taumeasina opened its space to us, and together we brought energy, beauty, and creativity into the heart of the resort.

Looking back, this was more than a photoshoot. It was a moment in time — a reminder that even during lockdown, creativity could still move, culture could still be shared, and beauty could still bring people together.

In this 10-year celebration, we begin with this memory because it reminds us of the joy, colour, and resilience that Taumeasina has helped us create over the years.
