Barbequeing with red wine and lovers rock on the box...SUNDAYS!!!! Umm is is wine for cooking ..or drinking??.🤔..too late!!

So .. one of the plusses to running a bar ... especially one that aspires to be a little , shall we say, off centre, is the opportunity to explore the foothills of mixology. Have been looking into the 'Mule' family of cocktails of which the most famous is the Moscow Mule (Vodka. lime, ginger beer). Janus has a slate of bush rums (inspired by Islet view in Castle Bruce) one of which is a Ginger rum... so i ruminated ... what if i started with that?... In the end We came up with 45 ml Ginger Rum, 15 ml syrup, 30 ml fresh lime, 2 drops bitters and topped off with Ginger pop (say, Quenchie) over ice.... Wow... i mean.. wow!!!! a name?.. Mule Grand Anse!! Man this job is fun!!

Is there a better way to end the rainy weekend than with friends, some old skool soul and.... a Sidecar!! (or two...)
