- Race Week for Watkins Glen is finally here and with the impending forecast, I found myself thinking back to my first ever win at Carolina Motorsports Park with my buddies Andy, Jeff, Pat, and Myron from RaceBar.

Racing in the rain takes a different mindset as your driving must be adjusted to ensure to stay on track. Smooth inputs and being patiently aggressive paid dividends for our team on that cold February afternoon.

I learned a lot about myself and my ability that day, but I learned from my teammates what we needed to win. Our race was covered with adversity from too top to bottom, yet we overcame everything to score the win.

Looking to use what I learned four years ago to have another successful race weekend at the Glen!

Always find a way to overcome the adversity and remember what you learned in the process to continue the growing as an individual.
