“Cinephony” - Cinema Symphony is a series of Burmese film screenings and live music events in Yangon hosted by 3-ACT. Ranging from unique themes and directions that are critical of the current times of Myanmar, “Cinephony” consists of pop-up film screenings supported with live music acts that compliments the concepts of the films. It aims to bridge the local film and music communities to address key issues and stories as well as highlighting the importance of sound in film.

Cinephony - Cinema Symphony သည် 3-ACT က စီးစဉ်ကျင်းပသွားမည့် (မည်သူမဆိုလာရောက် ကြည့်ရှုနားဆင်နိုင်သော) မြန်မာ့ရုပ်ရှင်ဇာတ်လမ်းများပြသခြင်းနှင့် ဂီတဖျော်ဖြေပွဲစဉ်များဖြစ်ပါသည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိအခြေအနေကို ထင်ဟပ်နိုင်သည့် ထူးခြားသော ပဓာနအကြောင်းအရာတစ်ရပ်ကို ဦးတည်ကာ၊ ယင်းနှင့် သက်ဆိုင်သည့် မြန်မာဇာတ်လမ်းတိုများကို ပြသခြင်း၊ ယင်းအကြောင်းအရာကို ထင်ဟပ်သည့် ဂီတတီးခတ်ဖျော်ဖြေမှုများကို ပူးပေါင်းတင်ဆက်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ရုပ်ရှင်ဖန်တီးရာတွင် အသံ၏အရေးပါမှုကိုမြင်သာစေရန်နှင့် ရုပ်ရှင်၊ဂီတအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းများကြားတွင် ပူးပေါင်းဖန်တီးမှုများတိုးတက်လာရန် ရည်ရွယ်ရင်းများရှိပါသည်။

For the 1st Edition of Cinephony, 3-ACT collaborated with Myanmar Jazz Club - MJC for "Voices from the Margins", which will be held at the Institut Francais de Birmanie as part of the Human Rights day event on December 14th. "Voices from the Margins", which refers to the perspectives and experiences of individuals or groups who are often marginalized or overlooked in society. This can include people from diverse backgrounds, such as racial or ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, people with disabilities, and others who may not have a prominent platform to share their stories. Celebrating these voices involve acknowledging their culture, valuing their contributions, and creating space for their narratives to be heard and recognized. In this section, we would like to particularly highlight different ethnic voices and diverse nationalities in Myanmar, that are not put into the forefront of mainstream media or cinema in the country.

ယခု အစီအစဉ်အမှတ် (၁) အရ "Voices from the Margins" အမည်ဖြင့် 3-ACT နှင့် The Myanmar Jazz Club တို့ ပူးပေါင်းကာ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးနေ့ပွဲ၏ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းအဖြစ် ဒီဇင်ဘာလ ၁၄ ရက်နေ့တွင် Institut Francais de Birmanie တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်မည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ "Voices from the Margins" သည်လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းအတွင်း အပယ်ခံ သို့မဟုတ် လျစ်လျူရှုခံရသည့် လူတစ်ဦးချင်း သို့မဟုတ် အုပ်စုများ၏ အမြင်နှင့် အတွေ့အကြုံများကို ရည်ညွှန်းပါသည်။ ယင်းတို့တွင် လူမျိုးရေး သို့မဟုတ် လူမျိုးစု လူနည်းစုများ၊ LGBTQ+ အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းများ၊ မသန်စွမ်းသူများနှင့် သူတို့၏ ဇာတ်လမ်းများကို မျှဝေရန် ထင်ရှားသော ကြားခံစင်မြင့်မရှိသည့် အခြားအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းမှသူများ ပါဝင်ပါသည်။ ယင်း ဂုဏ်ပြုမှုတွင် ထိုသူတို့၏ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ သူတို့၏ပတ်သက်မှုအပေါ် တန်ဖိုးထားမှုနှင့် ဇာတ်ကြောင်းများကို ကြားသိနိုင်စေရန် နေရာဖန်တီးပေးခြင်း စသည်တို့ပါဝင်ပါသည်။ ယခုကဏ္ဍတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ ပင်မမီဒီယာ သို့မဟုတ် ရုပ်ရှင်လောကတွင် ရှေ့တန်းမှဖော်ပြခြင်းမခံကြရသော၊ မတူကွဲပြားသည့် လူမှုအသိုင်းအဝိုင်း၊ တိုင်းရင်းသားစကားသံများနှင့် လူမျိုးစုများကို အထူးအသားပေး ဖော်ပြလိုပါသည်။

Pairing with these important films, “Myanmar Contemporary Ensemble” and "Myanmar Jazz Club" will perform fusion music of traditional music, ethnic folk songs and contemporary Jazz to further raise the voices of Myanmar’s diverse culture.

အဆိုပါ အရေးပါသော ရုပ်ရှင်များနှင့်အတူ “Myanmar Contemporary Ensemble” နှင့် “Myanmar Jazz Club” တို့က ရိုးရာပုံပြင်တေးဂီတ သီချင်းများနှင့် ခေတ်ပြိုင် Jazz ဂီတ တို့၏ ပေါင်းစပ်ဂီတအရသာဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ မတူညီသောယဉ်ကျေးမှုများ၏ ကွဲပြားသော အသံများကို ဖော်ကျူးပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
