Build Your Marriage

Have you ever noticed that you tend to pray to God mainly when things are going poorly? What about when things are going great? Those low-lows and high-highs have a way of turning our eyes back toward our Heavenly Father.

Just like reading scripture or praying in our private life can be sparked by change, the same is true of praying with our spouse. We encourage you to run to Jesus with your spouse in those moments — and let it become part of your everyday rhythm.

Life transitions can look like good things:
*Job offers
*Moving houses
*The birth of a child
*A child graduating or getting married

They can also look like heartbreak:
*Grieving a loss (a person, a job, a pet)
*Difficult relationships
*A surprise financial loss or expense
*A health diagnosis

Whatever season you're walking through, don't walk through it alone. Grab your spouse's hand, bow your heads, and let transition be the thing that draws you closer to each other and closer to Jesus.
