As Black History Month comes to a close, we are proud to announce over $2M in grants to 27 local nonprofits across the Hill District, Uptown, and West Oakland.

These grants support capacity building, education, empowerment, essential needs & social services, legacy programs, and whole-person health — strengthening communities and fostering collaboration across the Mercy Corridor.

We are honored to partner with local organizations that are making a lasting impact in the neighborhoods we serve. Together, we are building stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities.

United Way, in partnership with The Heinz Endowments, The Pittsburgh Foundation, McAuley Ministries and Opportunity Fund, is offering Meeting the Moment, a rapid-response grant opportunity for nonprofits facing urgent, time-sensitive challenges.

With a rolling application and monthly awards, these grants are designed to prevent interruptions to essential services related to natural disasters, community trauma, policy changes or other local emergencies. Funding is intended for last-resort needs and is not meant to expand programming or cover general operating expenses. Learn more: unitedwayswpa.org/grant-opportunities/meeting-the-moment/

Inclusive Voices in Motion

Inclusive Voices brings together leaders & changemakers from philanthropy, business, government, arts, and community organizations; people who rarely share space, but share a commitment to a stronger region.

“The organic conversations with such a diverse group of people are invaluable and may otherwise not happen outside of this environment.”

That’s impact in motion.

Support the spaces where community voice leads the way.
