From Brick Walls to Smart Phones Building a Safer Village 🧱➡️📱

Wow, what an incredible time we had at our last skills session! We looked at what happens when life throws us a curveball, like the electricity unexpectedly running out or an emergency hitting us out of nowhere.

We practiced stepping out of the Red Zone of panic, taking a deep breath, and chopping that massive brick wall down into tiny, bite-sized actions. It was amazing to see our teens, parents, and grannies sharing their village wisdom together!
But there is another huge area where life constantly throws us curveballs, scams, and sudden surprises... our cell phones.

Think about how much happens on our phones today. We use them to look for jobs, check school groups, stay in touch, and manage our money. But just like a sudden emergency, the digital world can feel like a brick wall when data disappears too fast, fake news spreads, or dangerous WhatsApp scams try to trick us out of our hard-earned money.

Whether you feel like a phone pro or you’re terrified of pressing the wrong button, it’s time to apply our problem-solving skills to the digital world!
