Computer running slower than usual ?

One of the most common reasons for a slow computer are programs running in the background. Remove or disable any unneeded running programs and startup programs that automatically start each time the computer boots.

Tip: To see what programs are running in the background and how much memory and CPU they are using, open Task Manager by holding CTRL+ALT and pressing DEL. This will give you a list on which you choose Task Manager.

To disable programs from starting automatically press and hold the windows logo key and press R. The RUN box will pop up. In the text area type "msconfig" and hit ENTER. A new window will open with a couple of tabs. Look for Start-up and select it. This lits all the program that is scheduled for staring each time the computer starts. You can select the one you want to disable and click disable at the bottom. Do this for each one you want to disable and click Apply and Ok.
