She that has my heart in keeping,
Tho' I for her sake be weeping;
Little knows what grief I feel,
But I'll try it out with Steel.

Ambition's haughty nod,
With fancies may deceive ;
Nay, tell thee thou art a god,
And wilt thou such believe?
Go, bid the Seas be dry,
Go, hold earth like a ball,
Or throw her fancies by,
For only God c'n do it all. πππ
Turn something of Thy look,
And fear me rebuke,
That I ;
May timorously.
Take tremors in Thy arms,
And with contrived charms;
Allure;
A love unsure. π
