COSAS Free State hosts Provincial Colour Fun Walk and First-Time Voter Registration Fun Day at Harry Gwala Multi-purpose Centre in Sasolburg, Fezile Dabi.

COSAS FREE STATE PROVINCIAL FUN DAY - BUILD-UP ACTIVITIES

Today, COSAS Free State Provincial Working Committee (PWC) together with the Regional Task Team (RTT) of Fezile Dabi will be stationed at different schools in Metsimaholo sub-region, Fezile Dabi. The program serves to guide and assist learners with first-time voter registration, applications for universities/colleges and also applications for the NSFAS TVET second semester bursary.

NB: bring along your ID's for voter registration and for varsity/college application bring along a certified copy of your ID, certified copy of next of kin, proof of residence and your latest academic results.

The Congress Of South African Students (COSAS) Free State PEC/PWC Member, Cde. Lerato Bofelo will lead the First-Time Voter Registration & CAO Appplications Drive on Thursday, 02 July 2026. The build-up activities will focus on first-time voter registration and varsity applications drive at HM Mthombeni Secondary School, Zamdela and all young people are encouraged to bring along the necessary documents needed for the registrations and applications.

The Congress Of South African Students (COSAS) Free State PEC/PWC Member, Cde. Tebogo Hlabirwa will lead the First-Time Voter Registration & CAO Appplications Drive on Thursday, 02 July 2026. The build-up activities will focus on first-time voter registration and varsity applications drive at Kahobotjha-Sakubusha Secondary School, Zamdela and all young people are encouraged to bring along the necessary documents needed for the registrations and applications.

The build-up activities will focus on first-time voter registration and varsity applications drive at Nkgopoleng Secondary School, Zamdela and all young people are encouraged to bring along the necessary documents needed for the registrations and applications.

The Congress Of South African Students (COSAS) Free State Provincial Chairperson, Cde. Tsepo Morwenyane will lead the First-Time Voter Registration & CAO Appplications Drive on Thursday, 02 July 2026. The build-up activities will focus on first-time voter registration and varsity applications drive at LE Notsi Secondary School, Deneysville and all young people are encouraged to bring along the necessary documents needed for the registrations and applications.

DELAYED POST: On 26 June 2026, COSAS Free State Provincial Chairperson Cde. Tsepo Moroenyane joined the program by the Department of Education held at Lehutso Primary School in Zamdela, Sasolburg. The program was the department's pledge to fight against the high substance abuse recorded in our schools across the province, the province received inputs from stakeholders in the education sector.

The Congress Of South African Students (COSAS) Free State invites all members, learners, structures, stakeholders, alliance partners and members of the community to the Provincial Colour Fun Walk. This walk aims to promote physical wellness, mental clarity and strengthen our youth to keep them away from drugs, crime and gangsterism. Furthermore, it promotes active participation as it will ensure that everyone is ready and registered to vote on the 04 November 2026.
